A super quick and easy recipe for those who want to cook something quickly and filling.

We all have those moments of trying to find a quick and easy recipe to cook for lunch or dinner, especially after a long day at work. Wanting something that was simple but still delicious that including vegetables, I decided on making some gnocchi that I had previously bought a couple days before. This recipe is very customizable as you can choice any saucy of your liking and any vegetables that you like to eat.
Ingredients
- 1 pack of gnocchi
- 1 bottle of sauce of your choosing (I used a rose sauce, or vodka sauce)
- 1 bag of frozen vegetables of your choice ( I used a pack of peas and corn)
- 1 pack of pre-cooked maple chicken sausage (optional)
- Shredded cheese of you choice (topping)
Directions
- First, I placed an oiled fry pan on medium heat and lightly pan fried the gnocchi until slightly brown. I enjoy this method then boiling the gnocchi as it is very easy to over cook them, leaving them very mushy.
- Once nice and hot, I add the frozen vegetables to the pan. You are more than welcome to use fresh vegetables if you prefer or have the time too. I like using frozen vegetables for this recipe as it makes the cooking time faster and easier and is a great way to include some vegetables.
- Lastly, I add the sauce to the mixture. Once all the ingredients are combined and heated up, it’s ready to be eaten. Any leftovers are great for lunch the next day and the gnocchi reheats well, enjoy!
