Looking for a quick and easy finger snack for game night or an appetizer, look no further! This recipe uses pre-made croissant dough and mini cocktail hot dogs. Cute mini pigs in mini blankets but so delicious I could pop so many into my mouth :p

Ingredients
- 2 cans of croissant dough in a can (I like to use whatever is cheapest at the store but Pillsbury brand is a common in grocery stores)
- 1 pack of cocktail hot dogs (you could also buy regular hot dogs and then just cut them to desired size.
Directions
- Open 1 can of croissant dough first, grab a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and following the pre-determined markings, separate the croissant dough into 3 triangle pieces per sheet. You should have a total of about 6 triangles per can. I like to use pre-made croissant dough because most brands will pre-measure their croissants and all you have to do is roll the pig in its blanket and bake it.
- From here, you can either use these triangle pieces or cut each piece in half to make more croissants. This is optional as if you like the hot dog ends to stick out/ have more pigs you can cut the triangles in half or if you like a little bit more dough you can keep the triangles the way they are.
- After cutting the dough to your desired amount, you can start wrapping the pigs. I like to start at the wider end of the triangle and then roll the rest of the dough as follows, with the tip of the triangle tucked neatly under the pig.
- Since the hot dog pigs are already pre-cooked, all you have to do is cook the dough, this should take about 8-12 minutes in the oven at 350F. Normally, I don’t add any salt on top of the pigs as they tend to be pretty salty already, but if you would like you can add extra salt. I also sometimes put a little bit of melted unsalted butter on top.
- Bake until the croissant are lightly golden brown and enjoy the pigs warm!
