  • Cinnamon

Icing

  • Powdered sugar
  • Water
  • Vanilla extract (optional)

Directions

  1. First, open the can of pre-made croissant dough. Depending on how big you want you croissant pieces you can either keep the triangles of dough as is or you can cut them in half to make mini cinnamon croissant rolls.
  2. Take apart each triangle, after they are all separated, melt some butter in the microwave and brush the melted butter onto one side of the dough.
  3. Sprinkle some granulated sugar and cinnamon onto the butter side of the dough. Do this process for each triangle piece.
  4. Next, roll each triangle into a croissant shape, put all the croissants into a cake pan that has been greased. You can either lay the croissants flat or stand them up like cinnamon rolls
  5. Before you put the croissant dough in the oven, if you like you can add some more melted butter, granulated sugar and cinnamon on top of the rolls for extra flavor 🙂
  6. Bake at 350F until golden brown
  7. In the meantime you can make the icing, all you need is powdered sugar, water and vanilla extract (optional)
  8. Combine all the ingredients together, if you want a thicker icing, cut back on the water. Be careful not to add too much liquid otherwise your icing will turn watery.
  9. Once the croissant rolls are done, let them cool off for about 8 minutes before adding the icing on top and enjoy!
